( CTI ) is a second-generation family owned and operated Company that has been in business since 1962 and incorporated since 1978. Our Business beginnings included, interior demolition and mechanical/HVAC dismantling. In the late 1970’s, while going about the business of dismantling HVAC systems and heavy mechanical systems, the asbestos abatement business was born. Asbestos was a natural part of the services that CTI performed. As the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency identified asbestos as a health hazard, CTI’s asbestos abatement services adapted to the new rules and regulations and grew from the very beginnings of the asbestos abatement industry. In like fashion, the lead abatement industry began in the mid 1990’s and our lead abatement division spawned from our interior demolition and mechanical dismantling services. Accordingly, CTI has all required licenses, certifications, insurance, bonding, equipment, personnel, experience, and credibility to perform the following services: CTI has experienced it’s longevity by choosing to slowly and steadily grow in size and expertise while performing quality work, meeting customer deadlines, and budget considerations as opposed to rapid growth and the long range problems associated with it The firm’s entire management team has learned the business from first-hand experience and from the ground up. Certified as an 8 (a) program participant, CTI has earned the U.S. Small Business Administration’s “Outstanding Small Business of the Year” Award in 1990 for it’s overall business accomplishments in the Cleveland area. CTI has completed projects for Fortune 500 companies, government facilities, hospitals, schools, churches as well as residential homes and apartment complexes. CTI brings the same level of expertise and concern to any project whether it be a multi-year task worth several million dollars or a one day project worth less than one thousand dollars.
